Detralex is a medicine that contains two active substances: -
diosmin, - hesperidin. These substances are ceutical
substances of origin and belong to a group of phenolic
compounds, called flavonoids. It belongs to a group of medicines
called venotonics and vasculoprotectives (medicines that reduce
the symptoms of venous insufficiency and protect blood vessels).
It works by reducing the extensibility of veins and normalizing
capillary permeability. It is used to reduce symptoms of chronic
venous insufficiency (a condition where the blood flow through
the veins is blocked causing lower extremity discomfort) and to
reduce symptoms of hemorrhoids. Comes with full English guidance

Indications

DETRALEX is a venotomy (increases venous tone) and a
vasoprotector (increases the resistance of small blood vessels).
DETRALEX is recommended for symptomatic of
venous-vascular disorders (swollen legs, pain, tired legs) and
for symptomatic of acute hemorrhoidal crises. Over the
counter (OTC) product, does not require prescription.

Ingredients

The active substance is: flavonoid fraction, purified and
micronised. One contains 500 mg flavonoid fraction,
purified and micronized, a corresponding to: flavonoids
expressed as hexeridine; 10% - 50 mg; Diosmin: 90% - 450 mg. The
other ingredients are: sodium glycolate, microcrystalline
cellulose, gelatin, glycerol, hypromellose, macrogol 6000.
Directions

Oral use. The usual dosage is: Venous insufficiency: 2 s
daily, 1 at noon and 1 at night, during meals.
Hemorrhoids: A 4-day course of 6 s a day followed by 4
s a day for the next 3 days during a meal.

Do not take if you are ic (hypersensitive) to a micronised
purified flavonoid fraction or to any of the ingredients. Talk to
your doctor or cist or nurse before taking. It should be
avoid when pregnant or feeding. Keep out of the reach and
