France Map (National Geographic Adventure Map, 3313)

Very big map. Had all the major points we were looking for. Appreciated the inclusion of a little bit of the countries that border the eastern part of France. Great if you’re looking to travel across the country.

Heading to France this year and will be doing some touring by train. I needed a detailed map of the country but the ones in the guidebooks are never sufficient - the National Geographic maps are truly the best for exploring. They're tear resistant, waterproof, and give the user a perfect combination of detail and points of interest. When you're done, you can always frame it!

Even though I use and appreciate GPS, at heart I'm a map person. This is a great map - but it is very large when unfolded, so is most practical in a hotel room or somewhere you have plenty of room to fold it out. 5 stars for completeness and detail, 3 stars for convenience, so a 4-star average.

We're heading to France in August and plan to drive all over especially to hit some of the WWI and WWII historical sites, but it's difficult to plan all of that without really knowing where things are and Google Maps only knows so much, so this was a life saver for me to plan how far we could go and where each site was and where we should stop. If you're driving, hiking, or biking through the countryside of another country or even this one, I'd highly recommend these maps. Plus they don't tear or shred. The only thing that could make them better is if you could use dry erase on them. :)

Easy to read, durable, held up to unfolding and folding.

I was disappointed in this map as it is divided in half and you have to flip it over to see the other half of the country. Not very practical for a “full map” of France.

Whenever we travel internationally, my wife insists on a National Geographic map for planning. The hold up really well.
