This caliper has excellent fit, finish, jaw geometry, and measurement repeatability (with measurements from all four measuring surfaces matching to within the resolution of the measurement scale). Many sources say that Mitutoyo products are being counterfeited heavily in the US resale market recently. While I have no way of confirming the authenticity of the three Mitutoyo calipers I've purchased through Amazon recently, they all show levels of manufacturing quality that are as good as known genuine Mitutoyo products I have used or owned in the past.

A good set of Vernier calipers is 1000 times better than cheap digital calipers and you cannot change my mind. These work perfect every time, never need a battery change, no screen to have issues with, nothing.

A beautiful piece of measuring equipment. Fit and finish are impeccable. It's really the ideal one for a busy home shop. It's accurate enough but not fussy. Garden variety digital calipers usually die early. And they die justwhen you need them.

These calipers, at least the 104, have both inch and metric increments. Makes the dumb American in me happy that I don't need to convert measurements each time lol Extremely well crafted. The plastic wrap and coverings made sure that the tool didn't get damaged in transit. Not needing batteries or re-calibration of a analog system make it so much easier to use. This size fits my needs perfectly, as a micrometer is too limited due to it's small size, and a full length 12" caliper is just too big and not necessary - 6 or 8 inches is perfect. Made in Japan, and it shows.

Superb quality, a joy to use this tool

Precise and reliable for basic use at a basic cost. I don't need digital readout to fractions of a millimeter.

Knowing that the battery on others is never going to fail at a convenient time, I went old school. The vernier scale is easy to read. Good quality device, but oh boy, the plastic wallet it comes in is a big disappointment. These good quality calipers deserve a better storage solution.

The only problem I have with the Mitutoyo 530-101 caliper is the writing and divisions are too small. I have to use a magnifying glass to read the caliper

Es una marca que recomiendo mucho, buscaba un vernier preciso y la marca mitutoyo cumplió mis expectativas. Buen material, excelente graduación numérica. Lo único que podría pedir a los fabricantes que anexaran al producto un estuche fuerte y que impida el paso del polvo para mantener en buenas condiciones.

The machining of this caliper is second to none. You can just feel the quality of it and just know it will last a lifetime. 100% worth it to pay that bit extra to own something that will last.

Mitutoyo vernier calipers are my all time favourite, great quality, really easy to read.

La verdad que para ser un calibre es algo caro pero siendo mitutoyo sabes que es de calidad y se nota mucho,tanto en el juego que tiene al desplazarse que es nada, como un guante,hasta en las instrucciones de uso. En herramientas de medida siempre vale la pena no ir a lo barato porque así sabes que tus medidas estan hechas con un aparato calibrado,no uno chinorri que solo se ha estampado la regla con divisiones este bien o mal
