Will help prevent cracking and peeling of your headband OR if your headband has just started to peel (like mine) then this is an inexpensive solution. Easy to put it on and the fact that it's washable is a nice bonus.

Love it! I was tired of getting little leather flakes in my hair every time I wore my headset. "Enough is enough!" I told myself. The headband cover arrived quick, and fits snug! No longer am I plagued with a ratty looking headset and the dandruff of a Chimney sweep. The fabric feels like a thin wetsuit, but the headband is noticeably softer somehow. Installation was a breeze, just zips over your existing (stock) headband, and voilá, new headband!

Item fits Beyerdynamic DT700 Pro headband. Purchased this to protect the under band head cushion as they have been known to fail sooner than later. Though new snap on replacements are available on amazon, I decided to start protecting the headband cushion NOW, so I don't have to replace anytime soon. Fit is nice! I don't even know its there. If you have Beyerdynamic cans, this fits and recommended to prolong the life of that faulty cushion replacement.

The DT990 has a very bad headphone band. It isn't comfortable and can also absorb oils from your head easy. This 10$ headphone band cover makes it a bit more comfy, soft and is washable. It is a little big for the DT990, but it works. It can be a pain to put on, but I can't see there being a easier way of using it so I can't really blame it for not being simple.

What I wanted: more padding to go on top of my head where the original band's foam has gone all thin. What I got: A well sewn, thick-ish neoprene zipper collar, that was a very tight fit to install. I was rather hoping to get a thicker or more padded material. It's not bad, but I miss having a little give on top of the head. It was a tight fit, but once it got started it zipped closed fine. A little heating in the sun helped it stretch for the initial lining up. Do I like it? Sure, it's fine I guess, and I knew what I was buying, but I think I should have held out for something closer to the original (which was out of stock).

Gets oily if you play long hours therefore you need to keep replacing these since it will keep getting oily from your head. Also a nightmare to clean given the material

TL;DR? Good headband cover, buy it. Tiny bit too long on my DT 990, so I wasn't able to zip it up completely. However, that said, it was only a little bit left, and it doesn't hamper the balance or stick out too much to get in the way. The comfort level is great, and it really helps alleviate the issue of the deteriorating pleather material of the OG headband without having to replace it entirely.

Fits my DT770 Pro well. There's a bit of a crease in the band when you get it because the band is folded in half in the bag it comes in (for cheaper shipping I guess) so be sure to stretch it out a bit on the headband and it will disappear in a day or two of usage (else maybe after the first wash?). As noted by others, it's a bit of an "exercise" getting the zipper halves to line up to start it but you don't do it very often, so meh ;) It has a bit of "padding" but that's not this item's primary purpose. Quite happy to recommend this to anyone with compatible headphones. I'm happy enough with this cover to buy another one for cycling between cleaned and in the wash.

Für den alten DT880 gekauft, das das originale Kopfband schon zerbröselt war. Sieht jetzt aus wie neu und ist sehr wertig verarbeitet. Auch auf der Haut angenehm. Klare Empfehlung.

As the title says, these fit perfectly on the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro headphones. The material and colour does seem slightly different in real-life than it does in the pictures. The up-close pictures on Amazon seem to be charcoal grey/black, made from a fine-woolen-looking material. The actual item is definitely black, but has a slight bluish tint when viewed at certain angles in certain lighting, and is made from a synthetic feeling/looking material like a polyester blend. Still, it looks great, fits perfectly, doesn't hurt comfortability, and seems well made. For the c. £10 I got it for it's excellent. Also, as an aside, I ordered this to the UK from the US (the seller being Amazon US) and the item arrived in less than a week; Incredibly quick delivery.
