Artists Living with Art invites readers into the homes and personal art collections of some of the worldโs most renowned contemporary artists, including Cindy Sherman, Helen and Brice Marden, Chuck Close, Rachel Feinstein and John Currin, Glenn Ligon, and Pat Steir. Here readers will find beautifully renovated lofts in SoHo, 19th-century Brooklyn brownstones, and a restored farmhouse in the Hudson River Valley, all filled with cherished artworks as well as objects, textiles, and ceramics set on display in artful and creative ways. Photographed by Oberto Gili, these gorgeous interiors will inspire readers to rethink the display of their own art and treasured possessions, whether itโs a perfectly placed painting or rocks found on a beach. Review: Great book - Love the book. Beautifully composed with diverse sensibilities so there is something to satisfy many tastes. I am an artist and visual junkie so it's just what I was looking for. My only issue is the fact that the book was tossed into an desertcart box without any kind of cellophane or new book wrap to protect it. The jacket is torn and dirty (see pics) and the spine is dented. I almost thought I purchased it used. C'mon man. Review: Exceeds Expectations - Selection of artists, text, and large quality photographs present a significant tour of their personal spaces This book exceeds expectations.

Love this book.
One of my favorite books of artists and art. Have been pouring over it for over a year. Fun to see how different people frame and display the art they own. Plus, the residences pictured are some of the most interesting I've seen in a while.

good
nice pictures just not what I expected in terms of seeing inside homes and studios. Must be all the rich people.

Most interesting look inside very contemporary artists' homes--not what I expected to find, as most of the names were not that familiar to me and the art shown was what they had bartered for mostly and not what they themselves had painted, which makes more sense, actually. I would buy it again just for the education.
