GardePro E5

This camera is top quality! The pictures and video are very sharp, much better than any other camera I have used to date! Trigger speed is good and the night time illumination is good and it reaches out very well. The day and night time pictures are very sharp and good contrast and high detail.

So I purchased in 2023. Tested fine at the time. Got a chance to use it this year. Left in woods for a couple weeks- when I retrieved it, lens and display were fogged. Was not in extreme weather condition. Water was in the unit and now not operational. I do have two other identical cameras that work fine. This camera did record a weeks worth of images. Camera looks fine, no damage to door or seals visible- really overpriced for limited use. I contacted the company and received new unit in three days. I do own two others. Have been happy with battery life, imagine quality, sensitivity which are all adjustable. Will look at their cel based camera that can work off one phone plan as opposed to others that you need one phone plan per camera.

This thing really works !! I had low expectations but it's pretty good. I wish the shutter speed was faster as most of my pics are blurry unless the animal stops

Set the trail camera up right away and set it up. It worked flawlessly from the start. The setup was easy using the menu and up and down arrows. The picture quality is really good! The GardePro E5 Trail Camera is a great buy for a great product!

I have used Browning cameras in the past but they didn't do well catching pictures of cats, dogs, oppossums and raccoons. The Gardepro camera does a great job of that. I wanted a camera that takes pictures every one or two seconds which most do not. This camera has a 0 second setting which works more like a 1 or 2 second setting. I bought one to try it out and liked it enough to buy a second one. I will probably buy one more.

I've been buying GardePro cameras for years and the A3 has been my favorite so far. But I saw this GardePro E5 and it looked like a newer model and the price was great so I decided to give it a try. After 30 days of trying my best to like this thing, now that i'm ONE DAY past the return window, I can't stand it. But first, the positives: the user interface of the cam is the same as my trusty A3 - easy to configure and everything makes sense. I managed to take a few practice videos with it and they quality was great and the videos were in .mp4 format (which is so much better than the cameras that produce .avi's.) And that's where the positives end...which brings us to the negatives. I'll keep it brief and there are only two: 1. The camera won't recognize a Micro SDHC card inserted into a regular SD Card adapter. Every other trail cam I've had for the past five years has happily accepted a micro sdhc card with an SD card adapter but not this one! I tried four different micro sdhc cards and four different adapters. This camera would only work with a regular SD card. Oh well...disappointing but not a deal breaker. 2. But the real deal breaker is that the camera just doesn't properly detect motion/record at night. I've had it sitting outside my house for the past two weeks and it hasn't recorded a single video...and there's plenty of wildlife that goes by and trips my Arlo cameras that are pointed in the same direction. I ran a motion test on the camera just now and it only detected motion within 8 feet of the camera on the sides - and NO motion when directly in front of the camera. I had high hopes for this trail cam but was left sorely disappointed and now that I'm one day outside of the return period, I'm stuck with it. Other GardePro cameras might be good but this one has been terrible in my experience.

These cameras are easy to set-up and take excellent pictures in all weather situations. Great clarity and color saturation. Night pictures are crisp f within range. Only issue I have had is sd cards being write protected after installation in these cameras and trying to re-format. Update 10/1/2026. In the area I hunt 5"-8" of rain fell over two days. Rivers flooded including the one that runs through the property I hunt. I had several Garde Pro E5 cameras out that became submerged under water from 1'-6' for several days. I figured they would be fried having been underwater for the time they were. I brought the cameras home, opened, removed batteries and let dry. I removed the boards and cleaned lenses on inside from condensation that had accumulated. Batteries were put back in, card formatted (same sd cards) and units started. They worked. I did a test run on cameras to verify they were taking pic's as programmed. They were. I am totally impressed with these cameras and the quality of pic's, ease of operation, and their durability.

I just had two of these compartment flood (water in battery compartment and fogged sensors and lens) after rain. It might be a bad lot, because the two that flooded were purchased at the same time. I have other E5s that didn't flood that were subjected to same rain event (yes, I have lots of cameras). I have been satisfied with these cameras so far. Just purchased two more. If these new ones flood, I will switch to a different camera manufacturer.

Tengo varios meses usándola y tiene un desempeño muy bueno , fotos y videos muy claras de día y de noche , ha resistido cualquier lluvia siempre y cuando le ponga cinta aislante, ha resistido muy bien el clima al sur de Sinaloa

found the productive to be defective. when i complained to seller in amazon they said they are not responsible and for warranty i should contact the manufacturer and not the seller. but i said i bought it from you and at least let me sent it to you and you sent to the manufacturer and get it repaired. which the seller denied stating that they are not responsible. very disappointing reply from seller. the product is with me in a useless condition

I’ve used it for 3 months now. From sun to snow, from 30 to -20 Celsius. The battery last about 3 weeks to a month, depends on the amount of activity. Very good for the price.

awesome camera, never know what your gong to film

The description on the site clearly states this camera has a Field of View of 120*. Wrong. After ordering I discovered in the manual a FOV of 70*. After testing it was confirmed - 70*. Totally inadequate and misleading as a trail/game camera. It has been returned.
