PERFECT Fit and Function for 2014 Audi S4 (B8.5), includes wear sensor that worked fine for me
I have a 2014 S4 that has 43K miles, and finally got the brake lights that indicate the pads need replacing. I have read that that is easily a $1000 - $1500 service at the Audi dealer, and after inspecting all of the parts I could see that the rotors looked ok (and I have a caliper and could measure that they were well within the wear limits), and I could see that the rear pads had plenty of life left, so I opted to just try changing out the pads on the front myself. There are some excellent guides online in writing as well as a couple of great YouTube videos on the subject, so I figured what the heck - why not give it a try. I decided to go with ceramic pads after seeing that they drastically reduce the amount of brake dust buildup. After searching for pads, I found there are lots of options. I have used Bosch parts for various cars over the years, and they typically make great OEM replacement parts that hold up. I was surprised to see how BADLY these pads were reviewed on Amazon, but I could see the sample size was small and the main complaint seemed to be the brake wear sensor did not fit correctly, so I purchased the pads along with a separate brake sensor (about $10 extra bucks). Note that ONLY one sensor is needed (the driver's side has the sensor, but the passenger side does NOT have one). I also bought some additional brake pad lubricant (which goes on the back of the pads to reduce squealing / squeeking). Finally, I bought a little tool that pushes the caliper back into the housing so that the new pads can be "wide" enough to fit over the rotor (in hindsight, I really didn't need the $8 tool, but it made the job a little easier). So the package arrived from Amazon with the brake pads, and in the box I found a packet of brake lubricant (so I didn't need to buy the extra lube), AND the wear sensor was already hooked up to one of the pads and ready to install. Well, I found that changing out the pads was incredibly easy and took me about 30 minutes total to do both sides after I managed to get the car jacked up and wheels off. The swear sensor plug-in took me a few minutes to figure out (mostly how to get the old one unplugged from the car so that I did not damage the receiving end of the plug; basically you just spin the plug 90 degrees either direction, and THEN you can unclip it ... really not much more difficult than changing out a Christmas light bulb that is a little stubborn, not a big deal). After getting everything plugged in and bolted back together, I pumped the brake a few times until it felt normal, and then took the car out for a spin. The brake light is off, and the brakes work GREAT. With just a tap of the pedal the car doesn't want to stop (so not as much "bite" as OEM pads), but with increased pressure the car stops JUST as quick if not a little quicker. And after having the pads on for a week, the front wheels look pristine (the back wheels were not quite as bad originally, but now I can already see the difference ... when those pads wear out I will be replacing them with ceramic pads as well). So now I have an extra wear sensor and lube, but I still wound up paying well under a hundred bucks grand total (and for better quality brake pads than if I just went to a local shop or dealer). This was a fun, relatively easy, and hugely satisfying project - if you have some basic mechanical skills, I highly encourage you to dive in and change out the pads yourself. And if you have an Audi S4, know that these pads are a PERFECT fit, they work great, and the wear sensor included with the kit works just fine. Good luck and happy braking!

Quality issue
Quality Issue. The clip that holds the pad in the caliper fell apart while inserting into the caliper. Had to take the clip and retaining ring off the old pad to make it work. Will consider replacing if they begin to make noise.

Piece of cake
Replaced my pads on my 2010 Audi A4. Fit like a glove and are quiet. We’ll have to see how long they last.

No Sensor? But the brakes fit!
These did fit my 2009 Audi A4 2.0T, however the sensor did not work. So I still had that pesky “brake light” error on my dash even though I just put on new brakes. Pretty annoying. At the end of the day, the brakes work, which I guess is the objective. They came in nice packaging and everything was easy to do.

Work better than original pads.

One of the sensor cables was defective. Luckily we were able to use our existing cable from the old pads.
