Worth it
It works perfectly. I had some old VHS-C tapes and wanted to watch. I saw other adapters like this. I would think they would be the same but I went with this cause it was the same brand as the tapes were. It is pricey, but it was worth it to watch the tapes. It’s pretty easy to use, and it worked right away.

Love this product! Works perfectly to see home videos and I haven’t had any issues with it. We’ve seen about 10 tapes so far! I know it’s pricy but it’s worth the money. Came brand new as well

Didn't work for me.
Decided to try this older name brand unit instead of another brand hoping I'd have better luck. The manual installation method was easy enough to follow, I was very careful to align up the tape into the slots and gently inserted into the adapter, then carefully closed the latch. Unfortunately the mechanism has some defect which caused the tape itself to get crinkled on the edges. I tried removing and re-aligning the tape, I ensured it was tightly wound, etc. I used different tapes and all started out smooth and clean before inserting and after running for less than a minute through this adapter they'd get crinkled edges as shown. The crinkling happens even when manually winding the tape in the adapter. For the price I was hoping for something more reliable but unfortunately it did not work for me. (My VCR works fine with all other tapes I've used so it's not that).

Just follow the instructions
If you are careful and follow the instructions, this unit works as it should. I have copied several of my VHS-C tapes to DVD using it.

VHS Adapter
This product works. A little more than I wanted to spend but it is sturdy and I have lots of VHC tapes to review. I totally recommend this product.
