Can you use these shoes as a running shoe as well as hiking, or only hiking?

For me they are too heavy to use as a running shoe. I only use them for hiking. I use the Salomon SpeedCross and Wings Pro for running, depending on the surface. YMMV

They’ve been great for me! I’ve been wearing Salomons for 5 years.
