It does NOT stick to anything
Ok. So, it does stick to anything using sooper fancy 3M adhesive. I cleaned the spot on the dash with the supplied wipes. Removed the backing andโฆ Nothing. It fell off like a depressed sloth on a tall tree. I normally would just chalk it down to experience, however itโs ยฃ22. And if I spend ยฃ22 on a phone mount, I fully expect it to be amazing and possibly make me a cup of tea as an added extra. Save your money and buy a cheap one so you wonโt be as offended when it refuses to stick to your dash..

Phone stays put
This holds the phone very firmly and stays put over rough surfaces and corrugations.

Magnet is strong, but I had to replace the 3M foam tape
This is my 4th time buying this magnetic mount, over many years. It's very sunny in Singapore and suction cup mounts would fall off eventually.Scosche's strong magnets and their grippy surfaces keeps the phones in place very well. However as most dash boards are a little curved and has some rough texture, the provided tape doesn't stick very well.I'd alway replace the tape with my own 3M dash mount foam tape.

It comes with magnets for the phone!
I had to look through a few reviews where they mentioned in the body of said review that magnets for the phone came with it. So I just want to point out this up front. As for the actual phone mount goes; this is great. This type of mount is sooooooooo easy! I love it. I put the magnet between my phone and my case, didn't use the adhesive at all and it seems to stay in place. It's so easy to put my phone on this holder once I have my route all set up.As far as the adhesive mounting for the mount itself I found it to be easy and strong. Also the adhesive area was pretty slim which worked out perfectly for where I wanted to mount it (on a slim piece of trim right above my instrument panel).I would recommend this to anyone looking for an easy solution to mounting their phone.
