Good Germination So Far – Promising Start
Really pleased with these San Marzano 2 tomato seeds so far. You get a generous amount in the packet (around 50), and I started mine off together in a single container. Germination began in about a week, which is encouraging, and I’d say roughly half have sprouted so far. I’m hopeful more will follow over the next few days. They seem like a good, reliable variety to grow, and I’m looking forward to potting them on individually as they develop. Too early to comment on the tomatoes themselves of course, but I’ve heard these are excellent for cooking—especially for things like tomato soup and sauces—so I’m excited to see how they turn out. I’ll update the review later once they’ve fruited.”

Took a while to get growing. Very unusual as they started at the top and have a yellowy fade downwards a bit slimy when you cut them however are really delicious raw and also cook down into a thick sauce. 100% recommend.

Ich bin schon wahnsinnig gespannt auf die Ernte. Noch wachsen sie in Anzuchttöpfen auf der Fensterbank. Mitte Mai geht es dann hinaus ins Hochbeet.
