We loved it
A very good and enjoyable little kit to start working on, for this type of model. Challenging but fairly straightforward. This is not a clip together 10 minute toy. Its a fiddly, and at times trying, model that will take a few hours to complete, with care and attention. Not for children under 14.

Nice build with one or two tricky bits.
Fairly easy build the only problem I had was when the tailfin broke apart when I tried to fold it together as the contact point where the two peices meter are so small, so be careful when you get to that part. Otherwise a really nice little build.

Very fiddly to build, poor instructions.
The instructons could do with some explanatory text in places, it's easy to miss a step and difficult to go back if you do. Need - Fine strong tweezers, flat side cutters, small pliers and something like a small art paint brush. There are some parts that need to be curved and a thin dowel or brush handle is a good way to do that. A little glue to hold the more shooglie parts after it's built.

Looks great in the pictures butโฆ..
I had the cutters, pliers and metal rollers as advised by the company. Anyway the pieces are difficult to remove from the punched template. You have to becareful so as not to bend nor crimp the pieces. It is very easy to break pieces off. The instructions are not very clear especially when it came to putting the fuselage together with the tail pieces. By then you see that had you not put the fuselage together it would have been really easy to put the tail pieces on easily. By then trying to get the tail pieces to fit the struts broke off. By then it was you canโt really do anything with a plane with a missing tail. My package and metal pieces will be making their way into recycling. My problem with these kits are if you have big hands as I do then trying to make these kits will not work for you. I had the R2D2 as well. It was near on impossible to put together. That will be in recycling as well. Some pieces have crimps in them whereby you are only given one part to make it if all 4 pieces come off where the folds are you are basically somewhere without a paddle. You canโt continue with the building of the item. The slot holes are so small you canโt really see through them. You donโt know if the the tab has gone through the slot. You then find everything falls to pieces because the tab you thought you had put into the slot you hadnโt. I really cannot recommend this at all. It is a total waste of money. The concept looks great but putting the item together needs some work on it because as far as I am concerned this item isnโt fit for purpose.

Not for beginners
This was my second Metal Earth kit and with experience was easier than the lunar lander. There are still some challenges with this one but the result is nice. The things I found hard was getting the rear wings and tail tight enough to stay put. The instructions suggest shaping the rear fuselage slightly before fitting them. On reflection I would try to add them before shaping it too much so you can get access to the tabs and get them firmly in place. Even then I found them sagging a bit or hard to get at the correct angle. In the end I filled the rear fuselage with hot glue to keep them from moving -yes I know that isnthe point of these kits... The second thing I found hard was getting the rear and main fuselages to the same shape. Not doing this makes the join more visible than is should be. This took quite a bit of time and effort to get them even close. The stand is quite a flimsy affair too. Whilst I cannot call mine a museum quality model I am happy with it and it was fun to build.

Buon modello nonostante le limitazioni dovute a questo tipo di modellini che rendono di piรน con figure piรน squadrate. Assemblaggio abbastanza semplice ad incastri, una volta finito il modellino misura all'incirca 11x15x5cm

The person I gifted this airplane to had fun building it and now displays it in a prominent place. I would recommend getting some of the metal earth tools to help the assembling of the model go easier.
