Fun and durable
My girls absolutely love this princess palace and the animated DVD that came with the palace. The DVD has two short cartoons about the princess of the palace and her friends. The swan palace is wonderful. It is durable, good size for playing and carrying around, pretty, and has fun surprises (turning "feet" positions that open the treausure chest or the swan doors or play music). Excellent toy! Good value for the money especially considering the durablility, music that plays, fold-down extensions that include furniture, figurines included, and the DVD. I especially appreciate that the pricesses are dressed modestly and that they are age-appropriate - especially on the DVD. They look like young girls. They act like young girls. Excellent toy for young girls.

My 4 year old Loves it!
My daughter really wanted the Disney Princess Castle for her birthday, but after reading all the horrible reviews it got, I decided to get her this instead. She LOVES it. It is the only toy that she will actually sit down and play with by herself. I like to play it with her as well. It's very cute and fun and seems very "magical". It was a really good value, considering how well-made it is, and all the enjoyment it has brought my daughter.

4 yr old loves it
My 4-year-old 'girlie girl' asked for a toy castle for Christmas and was ecstatic to receive this one. Of course, she doesn't play very rough with it, but it does seem very sturdy and well-built. I like that it's fully furnished so you don't have to buy separate pieces to fill it up. The lights and music are a special treat. A DVD comes with it with two short stories based in the castle and starring the princess and other princesses that are for sale in other kits. I'm not a fan of this aspect, but my daughter loves the DVD and asks to watch it over and over. (The shows have no scary parts at all, no villains, so are suitable for even the youngest viewers.)

Beautiful and fit for a little princess!
This was bought for my daughter who is 2 years old. She absolutely loves it. She loves playing with her brothers Imaginext castle, so it seems that this is the girls version of Imaginext. It's a well-made toy and of course is very pretty to look at. We will be buying the matching sets that go with it.

Outstanding Castle!
I am so pleased with this toy. My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves love LOVES it. The DVD is cheesy and ridiculously girlie, but she enjoys it too. My 4 year old son takes his imaginex knights and plays with her with and the castle, and they invent countless scenarios together. It's been very hard to find a toy they can enjoy together, but this one is it. It's extremely durable and a MUCH better bargain then a lot of the flimsy barbie castles I've looked at. We are in the process of buying the other Precious Places pieces as well.

Finally! Imaginext for the girls!
I bought this as a gift for my 7 year old niece and it was one of the items opened at the Christmas gathering. All of the nephews (4 of them - ages 2-5) wanted to get in on the action. I was worried that she might be a little on the old side for it but she truly loved it and played with it for quite some time while I was there. If you are familiar with the Imaginext line this is in the same line (though it does not mention imaginext anywhere on the package or description). The figures are the same size and the different activation sites are activated by placing the figures in the footholds and turning. They are interchangeable with all of the 'boy' imaginext castles and play items. I'd call this a big hit!

Nice for the price
My 2yr old daughter enjoys playing with her castle. Build quality is average. It's 99% ready to be played with out of the box. My daughter has these Disney Princess figures that she plays with and they are not too big to be used with this castle. The figures are about 3-4 inches tall. My only complaint is that it takes some strength to open and close the swan gates by turning the knob.

Princess Perfect
My 4 yr old granddaughter asked me for a castle for Christmas. When she unwrapped this present, she started bouncing up and down and clapping her hands. I chose this one over the Disney one because of the reviews. It is well made, good quality materials, and has pop-outs such as a bed and dance floor. The only complaint is that the spires on the towers are not attached, and short of super-glueing, we can't figure out how they are supposed to go on. But she doesn't care. She spends hours at a time playing with her little princess dolls and this castle.
