I have no idea how this product performs since I received it but four days ago. I do know that the company appears very anxious to please customers since they told me so when they knew that Amazon had shipped the item. The brush appears to be study and no hairs pulled out. How it works with polish or water or if it is superior to the toothbrushes I Have used for 50 plus years on silver remains to be seen. I find the handles a bit short and awkward but perhaps they work well. In a year or so, after they have been used I will be able to give an infomred opinion. Meanwhile, the company seems very customer oriented. And, the product appear to be American made which is important to me in this year of Chinese misbehavior and aggression against the United States.

I had a box of tarnished silver plate from a garage sale. I used these brushes in conjunction with Maas metal polish. I used a soft cloth that I had picked up from the Dollar Tree. Polishing with the cloth first, I used the brush on the engraved part of the spoons. If the brushes helped clean the engraved lines, it wasn't enough to make a visible difference. The brushes are well made, the bristles are soft and it looks like they will last a long time with no bristle fall out. I will try these on my grandmother's sterling and update if there is a change in my review.

I am late in this review my apology to the very nice vendor/ owner! I was contacted three times via email if I was happy with there product and company Simply Shine and the premium horsehair silver brush set. I was impressed with the query and in my order they sent a mini snack bag with a smarty candy roll I have not in many years! I got a smile and chuckle, and I thank you! I was late in my review because I bought this to clean my huge Squash Blossom, and did not use it right away because a co-worker had the moxie to ask to borrow this piece to wear to her Daughters rehearsal dinner in Santa Barbra Ca. The squash is back and I misplaced the brush set because I took it out and the Cats went wild over the horse hair and ran off with both! I love this set and will order more for a gift!

Good product works great!

These brushes were perfect for what I was looking for. I used them with the Hagerty silver polish spray and I was able to remove years of black tarnish from my now-grown children’s engraved sterling silver juice cups. The cups are shining again and I can see the engraving! I can’t wait to tackle the pile of silver jewelry I haven’t been able to wear because of the tarnish. The brushes were great value for the money because I was able to get two for the price others charge for one. The small brush was perfect for the nooks and crannies. They are soft so they won’t scratch but surprisingly effective.

I collect vintage European silver plate flatware. I found the larger brush helpful in cleaning tarnished fork tines, and appreciated the fact that it kept my hands cleaner, but neither brush really seemed capable of getting into the intricate embossed designs on old silverware. The smaller brush has bristles a bit too long and too soft to do much of anything, but the larger has more and shorter bristles that do more. I will use it, but it isn’t all that effective because of its clunky shape and design. Limited effectiveness...I am still looking for a way to get into those crevices.

Used with Hagerty’s Polish. Cleaned up whole piece and made cleaning tight areas in decorative patterns easier than with a rag and traditional creams.
