Tooth pain/Benzocaine
For tooth ache pain mix with gravel and pack with small cotton ball and cracked tooth pain is gone until you can get into the dentist. It does not replace a dentist.

Quality
Is what they advertise. I got some in my eye accidentally and I really wasn't as bad as I was expecting initially which is a good indicator it is a pure concentration

Fairly coarse, but easily ground finer
Is exactly what it says it is.

Pain relief
Definitely works. I used it to numb around my tooth while I was in pain from a toothache.

Not a powder but a crystal.
This is more of a crystal like salt and not an actual powder as advertised. I used it in combination with a styptic powder to treat a bad HOT SPOT that was bleeding and sore on my dogs face. It seemed to numb the area well so my dog would not keep scratching the wound open.

Doesn't work for very long
Got it for a broken tooth until I could see the dentist. Very short acting๐ซค
