How thick are the cushions?

The bottom cushions are 4 1/2 inches thick, they are firm The poofy back cushions are around 7 inches thick; hard to measure exactly but these are nice cushions and were perfect for my needs. Just the right size. They are comfortable.

Is the back top of back cushion 19" from chair seat or 19" plus the seat cushion thickness of 4" (23" total height)?

19 inches just for the back cushion so 23 total when you add in the seat cushion

Can you wipe these with a damp sponge instead of machine washing?

I bought these in tan color for my dining area in my RV. They clean up really well. 6 months and still look new. Yes a damp sponge or cloth does the trick. Enjoy
