Womens's Medieval Renaissance Costume Cosplay Over Dress

Quality was surprisingly great! Very light material and very sheer on the white part of the dress just so you know. It is two parts of a dress but pretty easy to do yourself. Only issue I had was a little tightness around the chest but hardly enough to be problematic. I would definitely recommend this for whatever you’re looking at getting this dress for. Would be a great starter dress for ren-faire!

Loved this dress. I am 5’-1.5”tall , 140lbs, bust 38DD. Bought a size L/XL. White shift dress is a little see-through, I would recommend a full or half slip be worn under it. This reached the floor, used a white stretch belt with it, and was able to adjust the length with the belt. BUT, the burgundy over dress was very long. I had to hem it up 8 inches so that it reached my ankles. Material is very nice, not the cheap material that some costumes are made of. Very well made. Some stretch to white shift dress, had lots of room in it. Was very comfortable. By the time we got home from the Renaissance Faire here in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the only wrinkles I noticed on my outfit were from my belt on the waist of my shift dress. There are no zippers on this dress, only ties. There are ties on the shoulders and it’s adjustable this way as well, but still it was too long for me even with the ties. Oh, I did have to iron it. And it did not have an odor to it. Highly recommend this dress. Would buy again in an another color to add to my collection. Love my burgundy.

Super cute costume! The white dress is slightly thin and see-through, but the black part covers it pretty well. For me, being plus-size, it fits very well, and the string in the back makes you look snatched, which is always nice. I've been wearing it to a few events now, and it's lasted well. I recommend this if you're looking for a cheaper but still good-quality dress for Halloween, a Renaissance fair, or a show.

I was impressed with this dress when I first opened the package - and it looked even better when I tried it on! The top dress has a true corset effect. You can tighten or loosen the laces on the front, back, and shoulders. The dress underneath is fairly see-through. As a busty gal, I was surprised at the support this dress provided without wearing a bra. I tried several things before finding the best solution for nipple coverage - a white tank top. The materials are very nice, the dress looks authentic to wear at a Renaissance Faire, and the price is good. I'm 5'7" and about 150 lbs, bra size 36DD. The small/medium fits perfectly.

The dress is beautiful and has a nice medieval/renaissance style. The sizing is accurate and it fits comfortably. The bottom dress is lightweight and sheer, which gives it a flowy look but does require a slip underneath if you want more coverage. One drawback is the fabric care. Although the instructions say “dry clean only,” I tested washing it in cold water on delicate and drying on a delicate setting. Unfortunately, it’s extremely wrinkly and the wrinkles did not improve in the dryer. I had to iron it multiple times on a cool setting to get it looking smooth again, which was time-consuming. Overall, it’s a lovely dress with a flattering design, but be prepared to deal with a lot of ironing and delicate care to maintain its look

Overall I love this! First off, it is two pieces. The cinching in the front is not great. I really loved the bottom piece. When I got this I play around with the pieces stacking them in different ways. I bought this for my birthday night out to Medieval Times. Now I am not sure what I will do because I have so many different looks. I loved how it looked when I used a black long full (bohemian skirt) over the white, also loved adding a brown belt or black corset. Lots of options. I can see me taking these pieces and mixing them in with some of my own clothes to create a weekend’s worth of different options. Oh and the white underlay is thin but super soft. Have fun! Overall well made. I sized up (because I wanted it in a specific color) it fits large but I knew it would. At 4’11’ almost everything needs adjusting, but nothing a small inseam won’t fix. I will not hem because I like the way it hits the floor.

I wish I would have taken pictures of this just to show how truly bad this was. But I had gotten this for a ren faire that I was gonna be going to with my daughter, and I was so excited about it because it actually seemed like it was gonna be good, or at least the pictures from other reviews made it out to be. And sadly/stupidly I didn't try it on until the night before😭 But the first thing I noticed was the fact that the material was so bad that I couldn't get any of the wrinkles out, and I tried everything I could, but nothing worked. And then when I actually tried it on I realized that the sizing was way WAY off and that this dress was huge. I am a size large and I ordered that size, but I literally pulled the strings as tight as they would go, and it was still so big that it looked like it was just hanging on me. Plus to top it all off, the white under dress was completely see through!! Like I was trying to make this work and was accepting the wrinkles, plus i was going to just pin the dress together to make it fit ok. But as soon as I looked in the mirror and saw that you could completely see the shorts that I had on underneath, nope that was it, I gave up and didn't wear it. I was really really pissed! So believe me when I tell you, don't risk it, it is not at all worth the money or the stress and disappointment. Luckily I was able to at least return it in time to get my money!

Extremely happy with purchase! Ordered on a Monday at about 1pm & it arrived the following day at 11.30am! Less than 24 hrs. Very impressed. The outfit was nicer than what I thought I’d get. Great quality. Should have looked back at the pic on the site, as I wore it incorrectly! Plenty of compliments though. Will definitely go to Amazon again for my purchases. Especially if I need something fast.

Looks great! The white lacing on the overdress was uneven on mine but easy enough to fix! As others have said the lacing is slightly annoying but that is to be expected on anything that needs to be laced. Considering the price I am super happy with it!
